VALUE

VALUE is one of the most important concepts in personal finance. How much should I spend on clothes/cars/food/services? As you might expect, you want to look for the products that are the best value.

VALUE IS THE COMBINATION OF COST AND QUALITY. Some products are cheap but don't last long while others are expensive but are more durable and effective. Sometimes we simply don't have the money to buy the best value item and may have to choose a less expensive product for a time until we can afford a better one.

You may be buying items of lower quality for the brand or buying low value items just because of the price. So be careful about your perceptions and if you're doing pretty well, maybe its time to spend a little more to get a better value. Purchasing the same cheap product yearly may be costing you more than buying the more expensive one every 3 years. Training your dog will cost you $100+ per hour for a quality trainer but will be a better value if Fido listens well :)

If you learn to master your money, get the right insurances in place, and optimize your investments, working with a money coach may be one of the most valuable investments you ever make. Of course that doesn't even account for things like a better marriage and mental health that comes from healthy boundaries. How do we value those things?

The average American can retire with dignity if they have a good plan and are committed to their future. Only you can decide if the investment in yourself will be worth the cost. Remember that there is a cost of not doing anything. We are here to help you make the choices that will lead to your long term success. Let's get money our of the way so you can live your life.
